Follow the Lam River upstream and the banks broaden into the cassava belt of Thanh Chương. On these river-valley slopes, 15 to 100 metres above the water, cassava has been the reliable dry-land crop for generations — and it's where our dried cassava chips begin.

Built for starch

Cassava (Manihot esculenta — the true root crop, not the "sắn dây" kudzu it's often confused with) thrives in Thanh Chương's warm, well-drained ground. The roots here run high in starch, which is what our feed-grade and food/starch-grade buyers in Indonesia, India, and Taiwan are really buying.

Sliced and sun-dried

  • Roots lifted, washed, and sliced into chips within hours of harvest.
  • Sun-dried on open yards down to under 14% moisture for storage stability.
  • Screened for sand, fibre, and mould; graded by colour for food vs feed.

Sourcing at the belt itself means we can move huge feed volumes without losing sight of the moisture and cleanliness a food-grade order demands.

The brand promise

The right species, from the right river valley, dried the way long-haul buyers need.
